Expedition Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Gangotri (240 km / 8–9 hrs)

Drive from Dehradun to Gangotri (3,048m).

Day 2: Gangotri Acclimatization

Short walk and gear check.

Day 3: Gangotri to Bhojwasa (14 km / 6 hrs)

Trek along Bhagirathi gorge.

Day 4: Bhojwasa to Nandanvan (9 km / 5 hrs)

Cross Gangotri glacier moraine to Nandanvan meadow (4,400m).

Day 5: Nandanvan to Vasuki Tal (6 km / 4 hrs)

Ascend to Vasuki mountain lake (4,800m).

Day 6: Vasuki Tal Acclimatization

Rest and hydration day at Vasuki Tal.

Day 7: Vasuki Tal to Khada Pathar Camp (6 km / 4 hrs)

Trek on Chaturangi glacier moraine.

Day 8: Khada Pathar to Sweto Glacier Camp (5 km / 4 hrs)

Glacier walk to Sweto glacier.

Day 9: Sweto Camp to Kalindi Base Camp (5,500m) (4 km / 4 hrs)

Set up high base camp.

Day 10: KALINDI PASS CROSSING (5,942m) to Raj Parbat (8 km / 8 hrs)

Fixed rope pass push at 5,942m across ice wall onto Badrinath side.

Day 11: Raj Parbat to Arwa Tal (10 km / 5 hrs)

Descend Arwa glacier moraine to Arwa Tal.

Day 12: Arwa Tal to Mana Village & Badrinath (14 km / 6 hrs)

Trek to Mana village roadhead.

Day 13: Badrinath to Joshimath (45 km / 2 hrs)

Drive to Joshimath hotel for rest.

Day 14: Joshimath to Dehradun (290 km / 9–10 hrs)

Return drive to Dehradun ISBT.
